Cyanotype is the partnership of Sarah and Scott Barrie, who founded the company in 2004. With each partner possessing experience in graphic design and publishing respectively, the couple decided to "put two and two together" and form their own book-centric design firm. Five years later, the company still maintains this dedication to book covers, a focus that has enabled Cyanotype to steadily grow in stature and reputation within the publishing industry.
Sarah and Scott are both bibliophiles, a convenient trait considering their profession. Other personal interests they share include traveling, camping, and enjoying the outdoors in general (when not behind a Mac or a novel, they are almost definitely outside).
Cyanotype is located in Chester Basin, Nova Scotia, Canada (Atlantic Time). Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm.
Cyanotype uses licensed Adobe software products in the creation of its designs.
